Max GokhmanMax Gokhman, CFA is the Chief Investment Officer of AlphaTrAI, an asset manager harnessing the power of authentic artificial intelligence across traditional and digital assets. In this role he leads investment, R&D, risk management, and thought leadership for the firm. Previously, Max was the Head of Asset Allocation for Pacific Life’s multi-asset division, with over $33 billion under management. Max built their quantamental investment philosophy, process, and infrastructure from the ground up. This led to a sustainable turnaround in performance and strong results through the turbulence of 2020. Before Pacific Life, Max was a Portfolio Manager for Mellon Capital where he ran global macro strategies and developed bespoke investment solutions for large institutions. Prior to that he was a founding member at Coefficient Global, a quantitative macro hedge fund that achieved strong positive performance through both the crash and the rebound of the financial crisis. Max is a frequent guest on major financial media networks and speaker at premier investment conferences.
Max received a BA in Economics and Psychology from Claremont McKenna College in 2006. He is a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle, the Global Capital Markets Advisory Council, and is a CFA charterholder. Outside of work, Max is an amateur race car driver competing at tracks across the west coast. |
